Olumofoods was already online before we were contacted, but the available website was already underserving the need of the customers and the Founders of Olumofoods wanted a better and easier experience for their customers from anywhere in the world.

The Solution

We realized that as much as the quality of the proposed solution cannot be left out, the timing was also of great essence and importance; and this left us with a huge decision on the choice of tech stack to be used for the project for us to meet up with the agreed timeline and still deliver on time.

Magento 2 was chosen as our platform of choice to build our solution on because of the flexibility of use and awesome user experience it brings to eCommerce management for the client. It enjoys a large community of developers and leading tech companies in the global ecosystem.

The platform was built with Industry Quality Standard in mind, and we also handle Search Engine Optimization too, with third-party app integrations to enable that our work is properly distributed and amplified across all social channels.

We migrated the old (existing users ) on the former website to the new website, and sent an announcement email to all of them, telling them Olumofoods now wears a new look and that they should shop on the new website and enjoys 5% discount on their shopping.

The Results

The job was done and completed according to the project charted and the agreed timeline and deliverables. The first 3 months was used in creating awareness and educating both the new and the old customers. Close monitoring was done using Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel and Good Data Studio to measure and analyze users on the platform and the growth rate.

Sales begins to tickle in in pence and pounds, and in 100s, and the percentage of return visit and new visit has been on the steady increase
